These are mature adult Lithops plants, at least 3 years old, capable of producing flowers. They are an excellent addition for succulent collectors. Living Stone Plants originate from South Africa, where they typically grow among rocks or soil that match the color of their two succulent leaves. Lithops, despite storing water in their fleshy leaves, are not considered cacti. These small plants come in a pack of 3, with a random species, each showcasing a unique pattern and color.

The diameter of each plant is between 0.8-1.2 inches. When shipped, the Lithops plants will be bare root, meaning they will not come potted. It is crucial to keep these plants barely moist, as overwatering is a common issue with Living Stones. During the winter months, watering should be infrequent and light until the days grow longer and the temperature warms up. Typically, watering every 2-3 weeks is sufficient for Lithops, especially when they are not actively growing or flowering. Tap water or distilled water is suitable for watering.

For optimal growth, Lithops require full to very bright sun exposure, whether direct or indirect. Care should be taken to avoid sunburn on the leaves. After repotting, give the plant 5-7 days to acclimate to the changes in light quality. A window facing West, South, or East would provide adequate light. When it comes to soil, a well-draining mix is essential. A cactus and succulent soil mix with added sand, or a mix of peat moss and perlite, works well for Lithops.

These Mature Adult Lithops Plants come in random varieties of color and patterns. Pollination from two or more plants is necessary for seed production. Each species and variety of Lithops showcases distinct colors and patterns on the leaves. It is important to note that caring for Lithops requires more attention compared to other succulents and cacti. Throughout the growing season, lithops may naturally split or crack, leading to scars on their sides and top. However, this is a natural process and indicates that the plant is healthy, not dying. Any scarring will be shed when the Lithops split as part of their natural growth cycle.
